What do I need to bring to my notary appointment?

Every person signing the document must be physically present and possess a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID include a State Driver's License, State ID Card, US Passport, or Military ID.

Can a notary give legal advice or help me fill out forms?

No. By law non-attorney Notaries Public cannot draft legal documents, give legal advice, or explain the legal effects of a document. Doing so constitutes the Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL). Please ensure your forms are completely filled out (except for the signatures) before your appointment.

What is your travel and cancellation policy?

My mobile travel fee is calculated based on distance and time of day, and is agreed upon prior to dispatch. If an appointment cannot be completed due to missing identification, incomplete documents, or a last-minute cancellation (less than 2 hours' notice), a nominal travel/trip fee will still apply.

How far in advance do we need to book a wedding officiant?

For custom ceremonies, we recommend booking 2 to 6 months in advance to allow time for script personalization and rehearsals. For quick, courthouse-style "I Do" sign-and-go services, we can often accommodate same-week or same-day appointments depending on availability.
